I agree with Rick. I didn't even realize there was a contest until today -- a good 1 month late. Anyway to keep track of when you start contests? Thanks....but amazing pictures by everyone that won too.

Your website has a lot of solid advice to a newbie like me. It is easy to read and understand the many statements, they are relevant and logical. It is also interesting to learn that a company needs to market their own website and the tools to be used are many and it is understandable that a hard work is needed. Nothing comes easy especially not the many promises about how to make a profitable website. Many different competences are needed and cannot be found by the same person so maybe it would be logical to have a good network consisting of the total amount of qualifications needed to bridge the gap between visions/dreams and reality. The construction of this bridge represents a huge challenge if you want to do long term business with high quality clients but once you are there the rewards are many!

Yes, you can do both.

1) Specify under Access Control not to include these galleries in Recently Added

2) That's exactly how it works.

So I had two questions about this (and one comment).

1) How do you keep these new galleries accessible via the URL from showing up on the homepage's recently added section?

2) I assume it is possible to password lock the galleries pointed to by the URL rather than make them public? The would mean clients would get a url and password, and others would not be able to see these galleries period, right?

Comment: real client only galleries would be a great feature for Zenfolio. In my limited testing, this is the only feature really missing. Has anyone heard if such a feature is planned and if so when it might show up?

You guys should start sending out some sort of announcement for something like this via Twitter or Facebook so it's easier for people to be up to date on everything. I feel so left out!

Well, this is a nice feature. Looks like I have some work to do here. I had put a lot of information on the left side of my zenfolio site; I suppose I could use some of this in a webpage, too.
