Hello:

New forum member, and my second subject in the last hour!

If I export from Lighroom, right into a Zenfolio web-gallery, the file name appears under the image, which is what my client needs so they know what to order.  They email me the file name and I act on their request.

 If I upload to a zenfolio-web-gallery the folder of which I created in zenfolio, and then upload using the uploader, there are NO file names appearing in the edit view under each thumbnail.  Of course they are also not there in the customer view and I can not find how to enable fine name viewing in the toolbars at any level.  

It is critical that these appear under the enlarged image.

Any help?

I've a similar problem (but perhaps simpler): I can't figure out how to make the titles (once I've got them set) visible in the visitor view. In my own edit view I can see the titles, of course, but I can't figure out how to make them appear in the visitor view. 

Have you checked under Customize Visitor View>Options to make sure captions are set to 'Show'? Beyond that, you can contact Support and they will help you sort it out.

Alex, I believe he is referring to photo titles in thumbnail view.

The option you referring is for showing gallery/collection caption.

I remember requesting about thumbnail titles when just joined zenfolio and was told that you can not allow this because it ruins you perfect (no irony here)  themes.

I still think that would be nice to be able to show titles in this views (even if it needs to be truncated at some number of characters).

 Yes, YL: it was displaying titles in thumbnail view that I was looking for. Frankly, I'm somewhat disappointed in a feature called "themes" that allows one to change colors, but not deeper things like choosing to display titles. But there's always room for improvement in the future!
