Larry, sorry for the delay, I do not have much time. 
I work in areas, layers (levels, curves, etc), layer masks, alpha channels and textures. Merge layers in a different way to get the result that I like. 
My work is based on this.

I signed up to support an event I was invited to shoot, so only have one set of images up. However, I plan to use ZF as my main gallery, now.

The AERC event was totally new for me - I'd never shot a live equestrian event before, and I borrowed a Canon 5D without ever having touched one (I'm a Nikon shooter). And it rained nearly all day. So it was a learning experience all around.

Riders in this event chose either a 30- or 50-mile course. This is an endurance ride through some fantastic country, and these folks and their horses were amazing.
