Just wanted to inform that I have updated Zenfolio Dropbox ver 2.0 to 2.0.2 which includes bug fixes and Google Picasa 3 integration

I have just tried using this but have had some problems, maybe I am missing something.

I am using the Picasa uploader and although in the Zenfolio uploader screen I see one of each picture it is uploading 2 and sometimes 3 into Zenfolio.

Also it puts the file name in the title and caption areas in zenfolio.

It would be better to have the choice if these are put up.

One tip I have found to remove multiple captions in zenfolio it to select the pictures you want to remove the caption(s) from it will then say multiple in the caption box on the right and then replace that with a space as it appears you are unable to delete them.

If these issues were ironed out I would definitely pay for this tool

Edit from using this more I have noticed it has actually failed to upload pictures although the pictures were definitely in the drop box and no errors were reported and I don't mean odd ones I mean quite large numbers. It missed about 80+ out of 400

I appreciate your defect report. Can you kindly elaborate step by step what you were doing?

I am assuming that you installed the software
Set your username & password along with your favorite gallery
Opened Picasa, selected some files and clicked on Upload to Zenfolio button
Zenfolio window opened and you see your files queued

Do you see these files upload completed? If not, Software will try and upload the files again. To stop software from uploading it next time you launch, Click on tool bar button Clear Upload Queue button

Let me know if you are facing any more issues

Yes I did the steps exactly as you described and they all reported as uploading fine. I may not have cleared the upload queue when I went back in but if they had already uploaded it shouldn't upload them again should it if they were successful the first time?

Also, although every upload said successful I was actually missing some in the drop box when I went into Zenfolio.

Unfortuntaley I cannot repeat the excercise to give you more information as I am not in a position at the moment to upload that many again.

When I have done smaller amounts there doesn't seem to have been an issue.

If upload said successful (can be confirmed if you see URLs) Zenfolio Dropbox shall not be uploading again. But since you mentioned that it does, this becomes more interesting. Next time you run, can you kindly provide me screen shots of Zenfolio Dropbox?

I know that it is an effort to do so but unfortunately I cannot replicate this behavior at my end or on the PCs that I installed and tested. Your screenshots will provide me a way to identify and isolate an issue

Just wanted to make sure, do you have Zenfolio Dropbox button in Picasa? If yes, you shall be Ok.

no i dont have picasa integration-- indeed reading the html help file it says coming soon (pdf is corrupt)

When I upload

this is the error i get

'Could not close file: The request was aborted: The request was canceled. This is minor error and you can safely ignore it. However, make sure that file has been uploaded to Zenfolio'

furthermore as i said before the pdf is corrupt and the picasa button did not install automatically  (however i did copy it to the picasa3\buttons folder)- same error as above.

Any ideas of what else I can try?
