I have been reading the posts on Supporting Video. I think it is very understandable from 'purists' and for professionals that want to provide with video services whether Zenfolio will create their own app or not.
One thing that is very much so the added value of Zenfolio is the integration it has for making a URL domain integration to web sites. Also the ease of setting up Google Analytics. All with a few fields, then just the integration is simple.
With that same thought, and while there maybe projects on their way for social media and such. I think it would be great if just in the same manner, Zenfolio would give us a few fields to enter EMBED tags to video that probably many photographers are already using such as ANIMOTO, VIMEO, YouTube. That way, it is a central location.
It would even be great if in the same manner that Zenfolio has partnered with Mpix, fotoloft and such, it could partner with ANIMOTO or other providers. We take the pictures, and we use Zenfolio to get prints from Mpix. Shouldn't it be the same by getting Videos from ANIMOTO or other services. That way, maybe ANIMOTO could reduce their fee to the professional photographers as they could get pricing for the clients that want to download their video or create a DVD.
