I have begun selling some photos, and have just recently opened a PayPal account.  I wish all payments to, henceforth, be deposited in my banking institution - via PayPal, but I am unclear on just what the proper procedure for that would be.

All that I could find (in my Zenfolio Account) was where to enter two instances of my PayPal ID.  That was done, and saved - but I just wanted to be certain that I haven't missed out on some action, for I honestly thought that it would take more than that.  I just want to be certain, and any help with clarification, on this matter, would leave me most appreciative.

there are two things here:

1. You can get payouts from us to you via PayPal, for that you will need to go to ACCOUNT -> Account Statement -> Payment Request ( I believe you set up the PayPal account under ACCOUNT -> Payment Info ).

2. You can manually fulfill your own orders through Zenfolio and your clients will be able to pay via PayPal. You can set up self fulfillment to handle orders on your own. Please go to SELLING:

1.    Click on Shipping Methods -> Create New -> create a shipping method that you will use along with the price for it

2.    Then click on Collecting Payments and enter you PayPal email account

3.    Then click on Custom Products and make sure to include the shipping method which will be used to ship this product.

4.    Then click on Price List -> Create a new Price List -> Add Products and add the product you have created in your custom products section.

This way you can go through the lab of your choice ( local lab ).

But from what I gather - by just trying to set things up - this type of thing would have to be done on a "per instance" basis.  Right now, I would just opt for Zenfolio to get whatever funds to me, via PayPal, and it seems to me that I would have to go in and such manner of transfer with each individual sale.  I had hoped that (once set up) Zenfolio would automatically have each payment delivered by that bus (PayPal).

OK...I think that it should be all right now.

I just went back through the process and, this time, was able to select PayPal as my desired method of receiving payment.  Before now, selection of the PayPal preference button wasn't available to me (I don't know why), and I just figured it was because there were no present payments headed my way.

But, again - methinks that all should be well, now.

Dumb question here...  The "Collecting Payments" page under "Selling" advises one to use a Premier or Business PayPal account.  However, the names of the products on the PayPal site are Website Payments Pro, Website Payments Standard, Payflow Pro, Payflow Link, and a couple of less likely others. 

Which of these PayPal products/services should we be using?  How much of the product automation is done via Zenfolio (i.e., can I define shipping methods, etc., in Zenfolio, or will I need to do that in PayPal, product by painful product)?  Sales tax collection?  How exactly does Zenfolio hand off to PayPal?

I have created a merchant bank account, but have not yet created the matching PayPal account.
