Customer getting white blanks for images

I have a parent that contacted me saying they are getting white blanks instead of pictures when they view my site.

    Anyone heard of this?

They say they are using Windows XP and Internet Explorer Version 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp

They are in a big corporate office so I wondered about that, but I know I've had another person look at my site from the same company.  Might be from a different building, but in the same town.

This may happen if background images are turned off in Internet Explorer settings or by a plug-in (several ad-blocking plug-ins are known to do it).

    To check Internet Explorer settings:
      1) Select Tools > Internet Options... from the Internet Explorer menu
      2) On the General tab, click Accessibility
      3) Make sure 'Ignore colors specified on web pages' is not selected

To see the list of installed plug-ins, select Tools > Manage Add-Ons... from the Internet Explorer menu. They can temporarily disable any suspicious add-ons and see if it fixes the problem.

I sent back to them a cut/paste of what was posted above and got this post in my guestbook.

I cant see any pictures. All pictures are a white box. I do not have popup blocker on, I do not have any suspicions add ons. Even my IS department cannot get the picture to show. I run PC Windows XP 6.0

BTW, I don't use IE only FireFox.  So I loaded up my IE on my computer which is also the same version of IE6 as this parent.  I see everything just fine.  I am at home, he's in some coporate office.

I would recommend for them to take a screenshot of what they see and send this screenshot to Support. They will do their best to resolve this.

You know I am wondering if it's something to do with the corporation they work for.  I just checked with a buddy who's wife works at the same corporation and apparently she had to look at it at home because she had problems at work too.  I thought she got in at work, but apparently not.

I'm just guessing. But wasn't there in the forum a post that somebody experienced similar behavior? If I remember correctly the solution was that JavaScript has to be switched on.
