    12 Photo Calendar

I have been asked to shoot a Pin-Up Calendar with 6 lovely ladies. The producer is looking for a publisher who can produce a calendar with a different photo for each month. I have had so much success with Zenfolio and the quality of their labs that I have to request this kind of calendar be added to the items available. If this can be done, and real soon, please let me know. Thanks.

A calendar option along with other 'folded products' like cards would be a welcome addition. If Zenfolio's current partners can't meet this need maybe the leadership can find an additional partner.

12 month calendars are available from Mpix, so they should add that as an item. Mpix also does folded greeting cards, and I'd love to see those added as well.

I saw that, it's called a Press Calendar...and I also saw the cost. YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!! There's no profit in it. To be competiative I have to sell them for $15 - $20. Mpix's fee starts at $20 and only drops to $14 for 101+. That's about double what other sites are charging.

It's the same problem with folded greeting cards. They come out to $1.02 each, so you have to sell them to local shops for $2.00 so they can sell them for $3.50. By the time you pay the shipping, it's not worth it.

So, do you think there's a chance we can get Zen to help us find a solution? Does asking really work? I've had great response to setup and functional issues here, but never really requested a new feature or service.

It would be great if they could find a place that would make press products for a price the would enable us to buy and resell them at a profit.

I asked for folded greeting cards quite a few months ago, and got no response. Local printers are way too expensive. They should be able to work out some kind of a deal with a third party who would welcome the business they'd get from a place like this!

Same here, Bruce. I just buy the cardstock at Office Depot and print my own greeting cards and business cards.

How does she make them, Bruce?  I've made some where I just print on the back, and glue the photo to the front, but I'd love to get properly printed ones.

     Carloe,

I'm sure there are templetes for cards and such. Me, I just use MS Word to design mine. I have one page that serves as the cover image and another page that is my inside greeting. I print the inside first. Once I'm sure the ink is dry I flip the page over and print my covers. Works like a charm! Here my 2008 Christmas card featuring the rarely seen snow in New Orleans.  http://groups.yahoo.com/group/christmas_card_collectors/

Can I ask which printer you have?  I have to get a new photo printer. I had an HP, but I wasn't happy with it. So now I'm saving for a better one.  When you print your cards, do you print matte or glossy?

    ^Bump^

Any update on Zenfolio adding Mpix's "Press Calendars"?  I want to create some Architectural and Landscapes calendars (one for each month).  Better pricing would be nice also.

    Re: 12 Photo Calendar

I start shooting my calendar project this weekend. If Zenfolio doesn't have a solution for me I'm going to have to go elsewhere for my calendars. We plan to mass market these "Gorgeous Ghouls" calendars. Zen would be able to make quite a pretty penny off me if they had the right solution.
