Another lab that deserves mention is Duggal in New York.  They have oddles of selections and work with established photographers, and momandpop with some film to develop. They have also developed methods to print on fabric.  Silk, linen and nylon in huge sizes (5' by 7' etc.) for reasonable prices.

I know Duggal from the 'film days' in N.Y. They were/are the premier lab in all of N.Y. (arguably). Thanks for the reminder/nostalgia Pam! Might be sweet for Zenfolio to see about adding Duggal as another lab partner Hmm?

In any case, I'm holding out til year-end to see about joining mpixPro. I'd prefer to do it via Zenfolio, but will likely do so either way. The product offerings are too good to pass up. I'd like to ask the Zen Team if one decides to sign-up with mpixPro before Zenfolio offers the feature, would we be able to simply 'transfer' our account status to Zen?

Any way, thanks Laura for keeping this on the burner...

    brownphotographic:

... and to add something else. I like MPIX processing and the fact that I don't have to lift a finger with the fulfillment. With MPIX however, the costs of my prints are plastered one click away from the zenfolio.com root: http://www.zenfolio.com/zf/pnp/mpix.aspx

Could not agree with this more.

My take on it is this: your customers should be paying you for the added value of having something meaningful on that sheet of paper, for your expertise in capturing a moment.  You shouldn't rely on customers' ignorance for them to purchase your products, but rather, you should try to make images that they feel are worth the cost you charge.

And as for that, I think a customer who is curious enough to go to www.zenfolio.com, click on the Mpix link, and then read all the way down to where the prices are (it's a _long_ page, and the prices are by no means at the top) might also be curious enough to Google for "mpix" and click on the convenient "Print Pricing & Sizes" link, on which page the prices _are_ at the top.

If you're still concerned, though, then host your site at a custom URL and click the checkbox to hide vendor labelling.

I have used ROES with many printing companies and it is easy. I have used Millers services of which Mpix is a division of.  I would love to have access to Mpix pro services through Zen, cause Zen adds the Zen in my life :) lol
