Zenfolio has always been slow to load on my laptop (running vista).  Slow as molasses - too slow to use.  Never any problem on my desktop, or on my old laptop with xp.  It's been like this forever.

Suddenly, tonight, zenfolio loads like every other site on the web. Virtually instant.

This is great!  ...but I'm dying of curiosity.  What did you guys change?

It was slow as recent as last week, so I don't think it was related to the Aug 14 update.

If you weren't having problems on other computers, then the problem was likely your laptop. Did you download a new browser or updates recently?

That would be my guess.

I agree, the problem was specific to the laptop, or more precisely, specific to the combination of laptop hardware, vista, and zenfolio.  Every other hardware/software factor (browser, laptop hardware, wireless network) I can rule out.  The problem was there with both firefox and ie, and both of those browsers worked fine on all other machines on my network.  Also, the laptop in question worked perfectly on every other website I would visit (image intensive or otherwise).

Anyway, I'm happy now.  Don't mean to prolong the topic, I'd just love to know what fixed it, in case the problem ever surfaces again.
