We are using Zenfolio as a coprorate on-line image database, but I think these suggestions would be useful to all users....

1) 500 hits on a search is not enough, 1,000 or more would be much better?

2) Ability to sort order of search results (oldest first, newest first, verticals, horizontals)

3) Advanced search options such as - and +

4) Put 'Photos' tab on top of search results rather than 'Gallery' tab. Most clients don't notice/understand the 'Photos' tab and are frustrated by looking through huge galleries just to find the photos they did a keyword search for.

I agree especially with #4.  Clicking on the left icon is most instinctive and they don't know why the are not seeing their pictures.

I would like to add to the search enhancement request the ability to limit a search ONLY to a specific gallery. 

I shoot races (triathlons usually) and usually have 3 or more race galleries up at a time.  If someone searches for their race number, I don't want 60% or more of the pictures to be someone with the same number from a different race.

Also concur with 4).

 2) and 3) get my vote
