I am curious as to whether I can offer this option.  How would I go about it?  Could I add the matting myself when I approve the order or do I have to make some kind of custom product?

Not quite sure what you are asking.  If you are usind Mpix, when the customer orders a print, they can choose a mat.

If you are looking to add a mat yourself, and self fulfill, you have to set up a product for what you want.

Yes, I was asking if I wanted to offer a 16 X 20 with a mat attached to my customers, would I have to self-fullfill the order.

yes, the self-fulfilling option would be the only way you could force the matting, or similarly, force a 'framed print' or other such combinations.

Not that difficult tho because you can always then just place the order thru MPix yourself and have it drop-shipped to the customer if you chose to do so.  Good luck!

it has been requested and hopefully some day will happen that we can put options like this together so you are selling a framed, matted, no-glare glass print... or whatever combination you want.
