Thank you for your response.  With all of the great artists populating the Zenfolio landscape, I am sure you are at no shortage of wonderful work that will help promote our community.

Nevertheless, I am submitting my favorite piece for your files.  When the next contest is released, I'll be sure to submit whatever my best is at that time.

How about a new contest. Winter is OVER, thankfully!!  Spring is here. It would be nice to see some spring/summer shots at the opening instead of all that snow.

 I just saw a new set of photos at the Zenfolio homepage today.

Was there a new contest for this set of selected photos? I didnt happen to see it. Could it be that Zen has stop the contest?

I also realise Zen feature few pictures for the same photographer.. wonder they will hand -pick by Zen for certain reason?

For this release we decided to pick the featured photos ourselves. As you can see, we focused on kids this time. Some of the inspiration came from this forums thread. We will continue contests in the future, and as before, will be announcing them on this forums.

Ummm, they're all caucasian?? 

OK, I just checked out the link to the thread that you posted Vitas,  I don't get it and if you are going to reference a certain post I would appreciate (as well as those not from America) it if you clarified it.  Nationalism, guns, we the people???  What exactly did you have in mind?

Hi Lori - nice photos on your site and very different from the link that you posted above.  Still don't get what you are getting at.  Try english.

I think there's some misunderstanding here. The thread I referenced is where photographers are sharing their best photos. Reviewing this thread revealed some great photographers. There was absolutely no intent to put any political, social, or racial connotation into the selection of our featured images.

I feel you are reading too much into this. We suggest that you focus on the artistic value of photos rather than concentrating too much into the content, or selection. If you need any further clarifications, I would be happy to address them in a private message, since this discussion is diverging too much from the thread's topic.

We do not have any contests open for a submission at this point. For the recent release we picked the photos featured on our home page ourselves, and used kids and families as the topic for the photos.

lori, just sent you a quick email to explain.... you are fine and the link was fine.  no contests going on right now but I checked the link you posted... all great pics!  :)

I don't post much and when I do it is in reference to something to do with the workings of the site.  I am used to having my posts burried and deleted.  I am also used to being shunned with regard to my work.  No little wiccan baby no business.  I have been told that to my face and I didn't halucinate, imagine or read more into those exact words.

I have photos hosted here for sale.  I am not here for social interaction I don't consider anyone here to be a friend or family.  The images were curious to me.  The page that the links were on were even more curious since some of them didn't work.

I have spent a few frustrating and trying years trying to get away from Sting and the Steerpike fan club.  Some days I just feel surrounded.  I completely apologize of I have "read" something that wasn't intended or more into a post.  It's your site you can post the photos that you want.
