Here is one of my favorites

    Dallas Skyline - My Zenfolio

With the back surgeries I have  had I haven't had much of a chance to work on my Zenfolio site.

This is another Dallas Skyline shot from my PBase website

    Another Dallas Skyline - Pbase

Nice shot on the Dallas image. I like the star filter effect, I assume you were stopped down to achieve this. Gives it a great feel with the time between twilight and darkness.

     Great Job

Yes, very beautiful shot of Dallas.  The colors are wonderful and the lighting seems perfect.  Nice evening image. You must be very happy with this image.  (Of course, Houston has a better skyline ...just kidding ... maybe :)

     Thanks for sharing, keep shooting!

Great shot of the skyline. Was this from a hospital parking lot? I ask this because I wanted a skyline shot and someone told me about a hospital car park, but I couldn't find it so I ended up going along a dirt track but I got a good picture in the end. Those reflective buildings are great at sunset. Mind you, that was back in 1986, just after a visit to the Southfork Ranch, where I was interviewed for UK national TV. Time flies.

The shot in my Zenfolio is from the hospital parking garage, but that is no longer available they built a 6 story building adjacent to the parking garage and it now blocks the view.

The night shot was taken from another location.

I never like to compare shots simply because each one is unique, different, and has it's own merits.

However, as I've been taking flower pics for more than 35 years...I guess it has to be one of those Geeked

In 2008, I think this was one of my favourites. A close up indoor, designer shot of a "Clivia Centre" taken in the studio.

Here's a few more like that one - also taken inside during the recent cooler winter period.

Every time I log in and look at all the great photos it makes me want to grab my camera and get out and start shooting. Last week I did just that, take a look.

    Rick,

Nice capture! I wish I had taken this photo. I have tried to take photos like this but never came close to this quality. It takes a lot of skill with the camera to get a capture like this. Thanks for sharing!

    Kev,

Beautiful work! You have mastered floral fine art photography. Looking through your site this is my favorite.

In my opinion, vast majority of floral photos are of pretty flowers. It’s not often that I run across a photographer that can take it to the next level. Obviously, you have. You must be very happy with your work. I tried to take it to the next level, as with this one:

However, I must say, you have reset the standard for me. I have book marked your sight as a favorite - Thanks sharing!

Hi Everyone.  I'm new here and just had some time to look around.  Everyone here has some great shots and I always love looking at what everyonea else is shooting.  This is one of my favorites because of how it turned out.  I'm into photoart and quite a bit of manipulation.  I know it's not for everybody but I really love it.  Anyway, here it is:

Love your work Karen, number 1 in the horses and cowboys gallery is amazing, great bw conversion. And the digital art is very well done.
