Hello all!
I use ZF primarily for family galleries. They are all set up with passwords. I have attached Google Analytics to my pages for the heck of it, but interestingly enough, there has been some unexpected traffic. Has anyone using GA heard of or seen evidence of traffic originating from an entity with the network location 'road runner holdco llc'? I've searched this name on Google and found limited information but the threads I did find
seemed to involve the same issue, unwanted traffic/hits from this particular entity. All of my hits charted on Google Analytics should be from very specific geographical regions. But with this entity, I have got hits from 2 seperate cities (in my state) where I am positive nobody lives that has the passwords. I have also had a hit from another out of state city from an unknown network location. My questions are:
1) What exactly is it? If you know.
2) How does it operate so that it is finding my little page out of the whole WWW?
3) I'm assuming its just hitting my homepage, which is not password protected and not able to dig into the galleries that are.
4) Is there a way to block it?
Thanks to any and all!
Dave
