Ok I'm in. During the summer months here in the northern midwest (US) much to my Wife's delight all my cactuses get moved outside. Much to my delight a couple of them bloom. But I have one that only blooms at night and it is spectacular. I illuminated it holding a flashlight in one hand and camera in the other.

Hi.   There are so many great photos in this thread, maybe ZF would like to host some 'themed' members galleries? Any suggestions on how that might work? ie submission/selection/duration? maybe a rotating panel of volunteer members as a selection committee after all there are still a couple of other requests we'd like ZF to be implementing!!

Buck,your wild flower – nice bokeh!  The bokeh coupled with the wind creates a very pleasing effect.  I can sense the mountain winds among the wild flowers.  I wish I was there!

Jem,  you have so many wonderful flower images ones.  The Tiger Lilly (P837a) is one of my favorites.  Strong, bold colors.  The image conveys a sense of courage, 'here I am world' - take me.  And yet, you just know that before the week was gone this flower was never more, so like life.
