Yikes....makes my shots seem pretty feeble, but I hope you'll take a pic anyway.  I'd love any feedback you might have. 

I caught this marmot looking regal after chasing him around on a cloudy day at Mt. Baker in Washington for  few hours.  He got used to me after a bit and let me get reasonably close. 

Another time on a cross-country drive, I decided to take the Inside North Fork Road on the west side of Glacier N. P.  I went about 2 hours north to Kintla Lake only to find there were no more campsites available, so I turned around and headed back about an hour to Bowman Lake.  Just before I got there, I snapped these foxes at dusk. 

Later in my cross-country drive, I got a great pic of a bison at the Badlands.

It took  a lot of patience to get this shot, but I think it was worth it. This Motmot was keeping an eye on me and would not even let me make any movement before it flew away, so I studied its behavior for while and noted its favorite branch. The following day, I knew what to do.

Gary that's a fine shot, very sharp and well composed, a beautiful action shot, Well Done!

My "Wild" shots are not so wild, I guess I lack the patience... This ONE is about as wild as it get for me, unless of course you consider THIS wild...? I'll leave the Bears, Wolves, and other large mammals to Bob.

My last trip to Colorado, in 2007, I told the wife "when we get to the Rockies, you'll see Big Horn Sheep all over in the mountains".  We spent days looking for one stupid bighorn sheep.

Finally, on a trip up Pikes Peak via the train, the announcer said that you could see the Big Horn Sheep on my side of the train.  I looked and looked and didn't see them, so I stuck the camera out the window of the moving train, started waving it around and shooting pics.  This is grainy because it's been blown up, but you can see a bighorn sheep looking right at me.  I'm pretty sure he was thinking "why is that idiot sticking his camera out the window and waving it all around like that?"
