    Photos to Inherit Gallery Keywords

    Good Morning Zenmasters,

I was wondering if it would be possible to have photos inherit gallery level passwords. In other words, if I shoot a volleyball game I would like to set it up like this:

    1) At the gallery level I would, for example, set up these keywords: 2009, Volleyball, BSHS, "Big Spring High School", Lakeview, District, Home

    2) At the photo level I would use keywords specific for that photo, for example: Christie, Spike

Currently, if you want to search for all pictures with the keywords 2009, Volleyball, Christie, you can't. This is because 2009 and Volleyball are gallery level keywords and christie is a Photo level keyword. To get around this I copy the gallery level keywords, do a 'select all' for all of the pictures in the gallery and then paste the keywords into the photos. Then I go through, editing each photo, to add the keywords that are specific to that picture. The big problem comes later if I would like to add another keyword to all of the photos in the gallery, for example "Senior Night". To do that now you have to go to each photo and individually add "Senior Night" to each photo. Since all of the pictures in the gallery need the same keyword it would be nice to just be able to add the keyword to the gallery and have it automatically inherited by all photos in the gallery.

Thanks for your consideration of this,

    Tony
