+1 for ratings by clients (ONLY) - I also use most only password protected galleries for proofing. They should also be able to sort by their own ratings (for instance I allow 50 picks out of a gallery of 600 - they would need to keep track of their picks) - rating 1-5 stars, then just see them by highest to lowest and adjust as they like.
