Music for Slideshow - add your own mp3

Why can't we add music to the slideshow? Can't be that hard, I've seen it on other sites.

If there is music I request that there is an option to disable it. I hate when photography sites have music. Very annoying.

If I may flip this around a bit: imagine a site(s) dedicated to musicians, where those members chose to use images to enhance their music. If there were no way to tell the origin of those images (public domain, scanned copies from books/magazines, screen caps, legitimate rights usage, etc.,) you best...

As I've studied this issue in relation to my own website, and particularly in looking at how other providers like Facebook handle it, I'm really curious about the legal issues you fear. Under the DMCA act, wouldn't the Section 512 safe harbor provisions protect Zenfolio from copyright actions...

I also would like this feature, it would be cool to have an on/off button and if we, the owner/admin could customize our page to play different tracks for different folders/galleries.

Embed Music with site or slideshows

I would like to see a feature to be able to add musical background to both the site and the slideshows.

No copyright management is indeed opening the door to lawsuits, and rightfully so. Things have just moved too fast for the industry to be caught up with all the issues and rampant violations. Composers and musicians provide us with their wonderful creative efforts. Certainly they are as entitled to compensation...
