hiding a gallery without requiring password

I need to be able to make galleries private - that is, keep 'em out of the index of my galleries on my zenfolio home page so they aren't found by somebody who's just clicking - but I do not want to force clients (and their friends and family) to enter a password. On SmugMug and Picasa Web...

How to collaborate on a gallery ?

I need to grant upload rights to one and only one specific gallery to a friend with whom I am collaborating on a project. Of course I am not willing to give her my userid's password that would enable her to full rights over all of my collection. Can this be achieved in some other way ? Thanks Bob

changing the access priveleges on a collection.

in order to provide a place to show my services, i made a collection to house those photos.. i then added a bunch of photos from other groups to that collection.. here's where i am having a problem.. those collections were password protected.. i would like to grant public access to all those photos...

In the manual, under "Access control inheritance", it says: "Note that collections are not considered parents of the photos they contain, therefore, collection membership has no effect on how access control is evaluated for the individual photos. Photos inherit their access control only...

Password for gallery

I have been working now for hours trying to figure out how to make the photos within the gallery on my homepage come up after someone has accessed the gallery using a password. When I use the inherit feature it makes it so when someone enters the gallery they have to put a password in for each photo...

damn, I am frustrated. I tried creating a client area where they can get the original and then password protecting that area, but also adding that same image to a collection so it can be seen publicly. that failed big time. i am about to give up here. maybe I need to move this to photoshelter or something...
