Re: Random Image for Group Cover Photo

I 2nd this request. It's (a) a pain to have to go back and manually add cover photos to groups and (b) it makes the groups and the customer facing website as a whole look very static.

cover photo on a gallery folder

I have no problem with adding a cover photo to my galleries. I have created a gallery folder that houses my 'locked galleries' for my clients. Is it possible to add a cover photo to the 'folder?' I don't see the option to add an image as a cover photo to the blank folder icon.

Josh, go into your locked gallery and click on a photo that you would like to appear as your cover photo. Go into your Access Control settings for that one photo and make is public. Then set it as a Cover Photo for that gallery.

Is there a method to rotate an image to be utilized for the cover photo on the home page? Newbie questions on size too. What is the 4:3 configuration? Not at this point. The unlocked image will show up as the cover photo on your Zenfolio pages but not in email. We realize that this is inconsistent and we are going to change it in the future. Thanks for pointing that out.

Rob, your Gallery has to be unlocked for users to get into it. Once you’re inside the gallery password protect all images except for one. And then select this unlocked image to be your Cover Page. This is a workaround for what you are trying to accomplish, we know of this bug and are working on fixing...
