Can be useful for a few but i doubt it's high on ZF priority list to be honest. Though i would be glad to see it there but without taking away the camera model as you suggested. I guess the "general" public is far more interested in the camera make than anything else.

It does appear in that screen, but I think the OP may have been referring to somplace like the slideshow, which displays camera model, f/stop, shutter speed, ISO, and whether a flash was used. What displays there is apparently not customizeable.
