  • Metadata lost on resized photos

    I spent some some writing titles, captions, keywords, and copyright info for my photos in the metadata before uploading them, only to find that the smaller resized versions of the photos do not retain any of this information at all! So it is not surprising that Google has a such a hard time finding anything...

The only problem I see is that the description is from the Guestbook area. Public entry - visible to everyone. Public entries are not allowed by the guestbook owner....

    If it were possible to do with captions what is done for titles... that is, allow a checkbox to use an embedded caption for each image. Most image editing software (Photoshop, Aperture, Adobe Bridge, etc., ) has metadata fields for titles and captions. If Zenfolio could parse the captions data, that...

    Today, you get back the exact same file you uploaded originally. We do not change it in any way and we feel this is very important to keep. It seems like a good option to offer at the time of downloading to have the metadata written back to the file.This should definitely be optional and turned off by...
