Image "sort by" not working the same as before the update

Hi, I upload images with sequential file extensions, eg: wedding-1.jpg, wedding-2.jpg.... wedding-157.jpg. Then, if I later do some work on an image, such as change to sepia, I then save it with a 'b' on the end, and upload it- eg: wedding-5b.jpg. Before, I used to be able to upload wedding-5b...

Hi, I am really looking forward to see in the "sort by" tool an "upload order: descending" and an "upload order:ascending" option. This is because I would like to have the new photos to appear in the first page of the gallery, not the last one! This way, it would be easier...

Glitchy stuff with text and photo sorting in the albums

Curious if others have these problems, too. First problem ... pasted text gets distorted after save. When I copy text from one album to insert it into another album to save having to repeat a lot of typing, the text will jumble together in places and I'll have to go through the paragraphs inserting...

sort order

We very much need the option of automatically placing newly uploaded photos at the front of the selected gallery instead of the back. I don't want my visitors to wade through 150 older images they've already seen to get to the new ones, so my thumb gets very tired of clicking the arrow to move...

As a workaround instead of selecting and moving left the added image - select all the images left to one you need to move and move them to the right. This way you will need only one click. You may need to use "Show All" option if you have more than one page in the thumbnail view.

I am also waiting for that option, all new photos, galleries or groups to be added at the beginning. IMHO, this would be useful or even mandatory if this last applied sort order became default sort order wich applies to all new uploads. The way it designed now this check mark will became misleading after you upload new photos or move some photos manually

Sort Order Indication

This is a very minor point. (Didn't want to add to the large sort order thread in New Features.) When clicking on "sort by" in a gallery, shouldn't one of the options be checked to indicate how the photos were last sorted?

You cannot automatically sort groups/galleries/collections, but you can sort them manually: http://www.zenfolio.com/zf/help/?topic=groups/ordering-items-group There is no question that sorting is one of the areas of improvement we need to address better.
