• HTML Uploader

Is there any way to make the HTML uploader the default uploader? The drag-and-drop uploader is throttled by my ISP so I never use it and I would prefer to be able to skip it entirely.

  • Re: FTP Upload

We need an FTP upload option. I manage two Zenfolio accounts, one where the photos are stored on an offsite server. To be able to upload these photos to Zenfolio, I need to upload them to my computer, then upload them to Zenfolio. This is, of course, ridiculously time-consuming. If we had FTP, I would...

  • File Sizes

I just started using Adobe Lightroom (& I LOVE IT!!) and for my first gallery, I exported the catalog as "email" size images, for ease in uploading. Sure enough, it took no time at all to upload these 97 nice, consise files to my zenfolio gallery. Now I have a question: they are in the...
These same 250 images took nearly 12 hours to upload to Zenfolio. So in my situation, the issue is not the cable modem since I was able to do the same upload on another site in a matter of minutes. There's a vast difference in 10 minutes and 12 hours.
Ditto...

I've noticed that when I upload large batches of photos, the overall speed and usefullness of our DSL line drops for everyone here. Is there a way to throttle the bandwidth on my upload so that I know it may...

  • Re: Zenfolio - prime time ?
I averaged 396MB/hour upload speed. that's a vast difference. And that supports what I am talking about with ISP's varying on upload speed performance. I am also uploading from a laptop with a wireless connection. I know if I plug it in to the ethernet hub...

  • Re: Faster uploads!

The time it takes to upload photos depends primarily on the upload speed of your Internet connection. And, of course, on the overall size of the files you are uploading. There is no limit from the Zenfolio side on how fast you can be uploading. The following Help article might be useful in further understanding...
