Google Analytics Rocks! Thanks .... now for the comments feature ASAP pls!

Just viewed my Google Analytics report and I'm amazed at the details collected from my visitors' clicks. Simply wonderful! I can view my visitor stats based on countries, networks, sites, new/repeat visits, groups/galleries/pages they visit, etc. etc. etc. and even their browsers/OS/screen resolutions...

Why ZF is not on the list?

While helping my colleague to pick photo sharing websites, I came across this review of 2008 photo sharing service and I am wondering why Zenfolio is not even on the top 10 list? Is it because ZF is not well known to the crowd or majority of people prefer socail networking while doing photo sharing?...

Thank you Alex for the explanation. If I have a choice I prefer that gallery view is also counted so I know that people are viewing my galleries even they did not open any photos, just my thought.

Viewing gallery doesn't count on visitors view?

I just finished setting up my Zenfolio site and very happy with it. I asked my friend to visit my site before I start uploading my photos and let me know what he thinks. He says the set up looks good but upon checking my site the visitor views doesn't change. I knew he did not visit my site, called...

Detailed visitor info?

First off- great site! I love this place and I've only been a member for two days. Went ahead and paid for the full membership. Question- will you offer a service that will show who has visited your pictures? I know that kodak gallery shows the email addresses of who has logged in to see your photos...

We like the idea of using the StatCounter and Google Analytics options for those people who want granular statistics. These tools are already available and have teams behind them, no need for us to reinvent the wheel. We will be looking at ways to make it easy to add these options.

It is a good idea, we like it. Both the StatCounter and Google Analytics provide a lot of details for general Internet traffic, and we would like to find a way to include tracking codes automatically without users needing to provide the actual scripts. Consider this an "approved feature"

The important part to know about visitor counts is that they are tracked on a per photo level and they reflect unique people . This is different than the generic browser tracking stats that are common online. Zenfolio counts are a lot more precise and better tracked. If a new person views a photo --...
